The Hotel Dieu Hospital Foundation was
incorporated on August 30, 1991 in preparation for the 1992
dissolution of all Hospital Boards in NB under “Regionalization”,

Our Letters Patent (#024062) were issued by the
NB Minister of Justice. We are formally incorporated under the New
Brunswick Companies Act as the “Perth-Andover Hotel Dieu
Foundation Inc.” We are unpaid volunteers who raise money to keep
quality health care here in Victoria County, closer and more
convenient to the people,

The Hospital Foundation is a registered charity
under the Income Tax Act of the Department of National Revenue. We
issue official tax deductible receipts. Our Charitable
Registration Number is 0937326-13 indicating the CRA (Canada
Revenue Agency) accepts the purposes of our Foundation as
“charitable”,

We are audited regularly and our foundation
treasurer files an annual return under the Companies Act of New
Brunswick,

Our mandate is to inspire and engage the
community to actively support the work of Hotel Dieu of St. Joseph
Hospital through a variety of fundraisers and projects,

100% of funds raised go to provide our area’s
hospital with the most up-to-date equipment. Our charter allows
funds to be used for staff education and health research also if
requested by the hospital administration,

The foundation meets over lunch the
second Wednesday of each month, September to June, in the Hospital
Conference Room. Meetings are open to the public.
